Our day of dog sledding is perfect for someone who wants a more in-depth experience with sled dogs. You will learn all about the amazing life of a sled dog as you explore the beautiful marshes and bays surrounding Island Lake on this dog sledding tour out of Duluth, MN.

Develop a close relationship with these beautiful Alaskan huskies and see firsthand what it takes for them to pull a sled on this 20-30 mile dog sled run!

Please note that all participants must read and sign an Assumption of Risk Form/Waiver prior to participation. Minor participants under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver on their behalf. A parent/guardian must be present for the activity.

  • Boots or mukluks with a removable liner (rental boots available), long underwear layer, fleece/wool pants or snow pants (avoid wearing cotton), a fleece top or wool sweater, parka, neck gaiter or scarf, warm hat that covers your ears, thin liner gloves, waterproof/windproof mittens that fit over your liner gloves, one layer of thick wool socks.
