Our Group Adventure Experiences are customized for corporate groups to foster teamwork, healthy lifestyles, leadership opportunities, fun and challenge! Our professional staff has over 50 years of combined experience working with diverse groups of 2 to 60 participants from corporate, government, education and non-profit sectors from around the region and around the world. PEO’s Group Adventure Experiences are an important part of our mission to inspire people to explore the outdoors. Here’s a look at some of the things we offer.

Team Building/Group Games

Participants will explore positive communication, trust and challenge through a variety of initiatives and group games.

Naturalist Hike - Bogs and Forests

Explore sights and sounds along the cranberry bog and in the forest.

Hands-On Draft Horses and Forest History

Positive Energy’s draft horses will help uncover traditional travel in the Northwoods, with participants driving the team on a wagon.  Optional addition: learn to harness the team as well as experience the tools lumberjacks used in the logging camps.

Climbing Wall

Participants climb and belay on our 20’ climbing wall while building group skills, including listening, trust and positive communication.

Kayaking/Water & Boating Safety

Participants paddle in stable single and tandem kayaks with a shore based introduction to basic paddling techniques, PFDs and boating safety. On the water, students learn about the watershed and nesting loons on an island near the dock.  Optional addition: learn self and assisted rescues in case of accidental capsize.

Voyageur Canoeing

Participants paddle a 26’ 12 passenger Voyageur canoe with a shore based introduction to basic paddling techniques, PFDs and boating safety.  On the water, students learn about Voyageur history, including travel to a beaver lodge.

Renewable Energy

Learn about renewable energy, electricity and experience a working solar and wind system. Participants experiment with batteries and how they work, as well as baking in a solar oven (weather permitting).
