Love animals? Spend a week with our brand new team of friendly Percheron draft horses, Hank and Henry, the gentle giants of the horse world, and Positive Energy Outdoors’ kennel of 55 Alaskan Husky sled dogs. Find out what it’s like to drive a team of draft horses, learn how sled dogs stay cool in summer, and spend lots of time in the kennel and the barn playing with dogs and horses! The week also includes a field trip to Tom’s Logging Camp to learn about horses in history, a visit to Animal Allies to volunteer at the shelter and a carriage ride in Canal Park. When you aren’t spending time with the animals, you’ll swim, hike, kayak, SUP, paddle the Voyageur canoe, play games and go rock climbing. This camp is for all who have completed grades 2-8.
