No visit to the Northwoods is complete without an old fashioned sleigh ride! Our team of Percherons, Tracy and Sid, and Belgian, Blaze, will pull you on our exclusive vis a vis sleigh, with black velvet cushions and cozy blankets. The sleigh seats four adults comfortably in the back, children can ride on laps, or up front with the driver! Better yet, consider the ultimate winter experience--a horse drawn sleigh ride and dog sled tour--exclusive to Outdoor (ed)Ventures! Before the snow arrives, join us for a wagon ride!

Sleigh rides are offered 7 days a week and last approximately 40-45 minutes. While advanced reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays, we can often accommodate same day requests--just call! All sleigh rides are private party--you'll only ride with the people in your group. To make a reservation, please call 218-391-0147 or e-mail info@outdooredventures.org. Our sleigh season runs from mid-December through mid-March. We are located "over the hill" from Duluth, where there is more snow than near Lake Superior. Please call if you have questions about snow conditions. Outdoor (ed)Ventures is located 15 miles north of Duluth, about 25-30 minutes from Duluth, 40-45 minutes from Two Harbors and approximately 3 hours from the Twin Cities. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive detailed directions to find us!

Sleigh and wagon rides are available on site or we can come to you. We are leaders in hands on draft horse educational programs for all ages and offer half or full day driving clinics, draft horse day camps for youth in grades 2-8 as well as horse logging demonstrations, instruction and services.
