Sleigh and Wagon Rides: Meet Tracy and Blaze

Our Percheron draft horse, Tracy, and Belgian draft horse, Blaze, in addition to pulling a sleigh and wagon, are trained logging horses.  We have helping people of all ages learn to drive a team of draft horses.  Our youngest teamster was 6 years old--she let Tracy and Blaze know who was in charge.  

Tracy weighs about 1,700 pounds, and Blaze weighs around 1,500 pounds.   Both horses spend quality time with our puppies, Kumera, Charlie, Blizzard and Cailie. 

Draft horses are gentle giants with quiet dispositions.  Tracy and Blaze love apples, carrots and oats, and each of them can eat 50 pounds of hay in a day!  We always welcome any extra apples or other treats the horses might enjoy!
