Share the excitment of winter at Mush for Kids! events for children ages 3-12. Activities for kids include dogsled and sleigh rides, cross country skiing and skijoring, snowshoeing, cookies and cocoa. All Mush for Kids! events support outdoor programming for youth agencies.
Due to lack of snow, no Mush for Kids! events will take place in 2007--check back for information about 2008 Mush for Kids! events.
In 2006, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of Mush for Kids! events in Northeast Minnesota with activities in Carlton, Moose Lake and Hartley Nature Center in Duluth, serving approximately 1,000 people.
Thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors, including the Northland Fundation, Hartley Nature Center, Carlton County Youth Partners, Great Harvest Bread Co., Amazing Grace Bakery and Positively Third Street Bakery for making these events a success.
